Signal-caller Drake Maye threw for 281 passing yards and a touchdown, connecting on 25 out of 34 attempts
The win bolsters the New England's lead at the summit of the division as they advanced to nine victories against two losses, with the New York at the foot after falling to a 2-8 mark
The opposing team had taken the lead at their home field with QB Justin Fields rushing for a short rushing score to cap the Jets' first possession
But the New England answered in the second quarter as Henderson scored two seven-yard TDs before the running back caught a pass from Maye at the back of the end zone in the middle of the third period to extend the lead to 21 to 7
"It was a crucial moment for him rising to the challenge, and it's been fantastic for him to keep getting these reps," Maye commented on the rookie. "He desires to be outstanding."
Justin Fields threw to John Metchie late in the third quarter to narrow the deficit for the visitors but Borregales kicked a two kicks in the fourth quarter as the home side closed out the win
